CONTEXT: Before the “Harry Potter” films and the 1998 “Worst Witch” series, Snape and Hardbroom had secretly married and divorced. Their son, the future Nicholas Hobbes (of the “Worst Witch” spin-off, “Weirdsister College”), was a product of that union and given to another family to raise as their own. Fortunately, the family of three would reunite in 2006 under supernatural means. Long story short, members of R/The Cabal (of “Hogwarts Mystery”), had managed to resurrect Snape through a potion made with the Resurrection Stone. Snape would be revived and escape but would struggle to get his new life together. That’s when Constance Hardbroom renters his life...

Anyway, the (much older) Golden Trio and the Malfoys would be a part of the story. The Golden Trio due to investigating the murders/assault of Nicholas’s adopted parents (not sure if I should kill them off or not). The Malfoys thanks to Rita Skeeter’s scandalized rendition of Severus and Constance’s love story. This brings the question on how each of the characters would/should react to the revelation. Not only that but Severus Snape being revived and living in seclusion for years with them being completely unaware.

Would they all be mad? Would be in shock? Would any of these characters try to reach out to Severus, Constance or Nicholas? Would Lucius want to kill Severus out of revenge for either going against Voldemort? Would he hate Severus for leaving the likes of Lucius to be thrown under the bus after the Second Wizarding War? Would they all want to help protect Nicholas Hobbes from the likes of R/The Cabal in the R/Cabal’s efforts to track Snape down? Would any of the Golden Trio or the Malfoys even continue to keep in touch with Snape at the end of the story? And what about the Weasleys? How would they react?

I can see the Golden Trio being a bit apprehensive when finding out Hobbes’s origins and would comfort him. Though, would Harry take the role of a big-brother figure/Godfather like how he would be with Teddy Lupin (which could be a way to reconcile the Snape and Lupin families)? Or would those brotherly/Godfather roles be more fitted with Draco Malfoy as he and Hobbes would give a good parrellel to Harry and Teddy?

As for the staff of Hogwarts and Cackle’s Academy, the only people who knew of Nicholas Hobbes prior to the events of the fic would’ve been Amelia Cackle, Minerva McGonagall, Madame Pomfrey and Albus Dumbledore. There was also Minerva’s husband, Elphinstone Urquart (who offieciated snape and Hardbroom’s elopement, divorce and gave baby Nicholas to his new family), Nicolas Flamel and his wife, Perenelle (thanks to Dumbledore, they allowed Constance and Severus to hide at the Flamel House when their son was born). However, Elphinstone and the Flamels had been long gone. So this kinda makes me wonder if Hagrid, Neville Longbottom, and the other professors should have a part in the story.

Then there’s the public. There’s no doubt the reveal of Snape fathering a secret child would cause excitement. But, in my fic, the “Worst Witch” wizards are of a sect called “Ex-Codice” with the “Harry Potter” wizards being known as “Estne” “Stultus” or “Stultum” (can’t decide which). For their strict following of tradition and the ancient Witches Code, the Ex-Codice are dubbed as “The Inmates” by the Estne. In turn, the Ex-Codice would call their rivals, “The Barmy Ones” for their tendency to show off their magical ways. Bascially, the Estne are Protestants while Ex-Codice are Catholics. So with the Estne Wizard, Severus Snape being found to have married and having a child with the Ex-Codice Witch, Constance Hardbroom, a scandal could arise. But, to what extent? Was the hatred just a rivalry or a hatred as bad as the hate towards Muggles? Would it be like the Troubles War (Catholic vs. Protestants) in the UK?

Ok...So the fics I've been working on involved Lando Calrissian having a wife named "Giselle". Together, they'd become the proud parents of two children who would be Finn and Jannah. And as Finn is Force-Sensitive, it's be logical to have his mother be one as well.

Initially I had Giselle be a padawan under her mentor, Tamar Dracon until Giselle ends up leaving the Jedi ways to marry Lando prior to him becoming Cloud City's Baron. All while promising Dracon not to tell Lando of her Force abilities (think Esther from the Bible). Giselle's absence from "Empire Strikes Back" would later be explained by her fleeing to Naboo once she hears of Lando's deal with Vader. Shortly after "Return of the Jedi", Lando and Giselle would reunite.

Seems simple enough, but a few days ago, I've been researching the Mantis Crew. Cere Junda especially. At first, I got the idea of making Giselle the result of an affair Cere and Mace Windu had when they were young. HOWEVER, I looked further and learned that Windu was a jedi master when Cere was a padawan. So that idea was squashed...sorta. Maybe my brain just wants to see Windu and/or Junda going "Papa Wolf/Mama Bear" (even as a Force Ghost, Windu would find a way) on Lando but there's too many ideas to come with this.

My other idea is that a year following "Phantom Menace", Cere and Mace began a romance that would reulst in Giselle. Cere would tell Mace from the start or years after Giselle's arrival. Either way, newborn would be placed in Tamar Dracon's care and training. All while few jedi masters would know the truth.

While there's potential, there are some things setting me back:

-This one's the most major; if we consider Cere being born around 65-60 BBY like some fans speculate, Cere had to have been in her 30's when Lando, himself was born. And at the most, Cere and Windu would've been 7 years apart. So with that the age gap shouldn't be that much of an issue if Windu and Cere got together circe 32-30 BBY. Yet, it still bothers me that Cere was a padawan when the two first met. Doesn't that make things problematic? I don't want Windu to be seen as a groomer even if Cere wasn't his student.

-Considering how conservative Mace and Cere are and the age they'd be at the time of Giselle's birth, they don't seem likely to get themselves into a situation like this. Even if they have battles with the Dark Side.

But what say you? Should Giselle be Mace and Cere's kid or no?

Sorry that it’s so long. I…I have a lot on my mind.

Ok…so remember in my last journal entry about Selik being the love interest for Penda. Well, here are my issues with her. When we first meet her, she’s supposed to be completely unaware of her Earthling background. Not only that, she’s supposed to start off as an extra with more focus being on her as the story goes on. Ultimately, she’d be revealed to be Penda Scott (Scotty and Uhura’s daughter) who, along with the shuttlecraft, Asase 714, went missing thanks to a wormhole that took her to the “Star Wars” universe.

For parts of her backstory, I’m a bit confused. For one, there’s who her adopted parents should be:

-Choice 1: Lando Calrissian and Giselle Galfridian:

It’s supposed to go like this; in between “Revenge of the Sith” and “New Hope”, Lando becomes romantically involved with a young woman named Giselle. Unbeknownst to him, she’s a jedi whose master, Custodia Dracon, allowed Giselle to leave the Jedi Order to marry Lando. However, Dracon would tell Giselle to keep her Force-wielding ways a secret.

A few years into their marriages, the financially struggling Calrissians would be met by Owen Lars and the hermit Old Ben. Whether it was the two taking the trip to Bespin to find them or if the Calrissians were already on Tatooine (just in Mos Espa), I’m still trying to decide. But, what Lars and Old Ben brought to them was a toddler of three years. No one knew what her name was as she was the survivor of a shuttle crash on the Western Dune Sea.

Custodia was one of the heroes who took part in the rescue. Afterwards, she, Old Ben and Custodia’s own old mentor, Ladron DeTumbas, buried the ship’s remnants (including its deceased victims) within the sands to keep stormtroopers, and robbers away. Unfortunately, Custodia would discover Ladron’s attempt to steal from the shuttle and an altercation ensued, killing both master and student. Consequently, Old Ben was left with the task of taking the little survivor to Giselle for she was Custodia’s former padawan. With her Force skills and early combat training, the toddler would be in safe hands.

At first, the Calrissians were (understandably) reluctant in taking the foundling in but when given money by Owen Lars and pleadings by Old Ben, the pair decided to raise the girl as their niece. It also helped that Lando and Giselle took pity when seeing the sad state she was in; the child was bathed, given new clothes with her wounds dressed prior to the Calrissian's meeting. Yet, even at three, the trauma is still felt. It took a long while for Giselle and Lando to get the child, now named “Xenia”, to laugh, smile and even talk.

Anyway, while Old Ben told them of the shuttle crash, he nor Owen told them that the shuttle was from an entirely different dimension. A discovery they and the other valiants had made when noticing the strange clothes the victims wore, the peculiar letters that remained on the craft, the odd weapons and gadgets along with the foreign emblem found on the aforementioned clothes. To keep Xenia and her new family safe from prying Imperial eyes and crafty Siths, the Calrissians had to be left in the dark.

Another couple of years passed and Lando decided to take his family to Cloud City on Bespin. There, he’d win in a bet that would change their lives as he’d won the high-ranking position of Cloud City’s Baron Administrator. While the newer, wealthier life was welcomed with open arms, the Empire still loomed over Lando, Giselle and Xenia; specifically when hearing of the destruction of the planet, Alderaan. This was why it was both natural and a shock when Lando made a deal with Darth Vader; give the Rebels (Leia, Han, Chewbacca, and C3PO) to the Empire and Bespin will go unharmed.

As much as she understood the desciscion, Giselle was still disgusted and fearful that her Jedi background would be discovered. Upon finally confessing to Lando of her past, he put Giselle and Xenia on a shuttle transport to seek haven on the neutral planet, Chandrila. Long story short, the family would reunite shortly after “Return Of The Jedi”. This was when Giselle was freed from an Imperial camp (an inquisitor had found her out) while Xenia was forced into slavery at her boarding school to pay off her debt.

As the Calrissians gained new friends, Xenia would be accepted into the Solo Palace on Coruscant to be one of the court musicians. Either that or end up becoming a chorus girl at the Coruscant Opera House. Meanwhile, Lando and Giselle would welcome two children, Horatio and Kadara (these two would become Finn and Jannah in the future).

-Choice 2: Kitster and Sundari Banai:

This story goes about similarly to the Calrissians. Yet, the Banais were two of the heroes in the shuttle crash. And though Old Ben warned them of the dangers of Xenia knowing her origins, the Banais decided to tell her when she was old enough to understand.

As they resided on Mos Espa, Tatooine, Kitster and Sundari were working for the well-off family, the Holdo’s, as security and tutor respectfully. Not only that, they were also part of the Rebel alliance which made both Kitster and Sundari leave for various missions. This left Xenia in the care of the Holdo family with the parents, Jarvis and Esme, making Xenia work as an indentured servant. Gradually giving her more difficult chores with little to no help save for the children, teens, Caige and Donovan along with little Amilyn. With no escape, Xenia had to accept her harsh fate. Fortunately, it was not for long.

Prior to their rescue of Han Solo, Luke, Leia, Chewbacca, Lando, C3PO and R2D2 were taken in by the Holdo’s as a safe (temporary) haven. Xenia was kept away from the visitors as she was given outside chores (grocery shopping, gardening, etc.). Yet, R2 and 3PO managed to discover the child’s existence. And once the droids and the Rebel Heroes were made aware of the situation, Leia had got all the children out of there and to Chandrila where Mon Mothma had made a special home for orphans and abused children. Xenia was kept there until the Banai’s were found after the war. As the years go on, Xenia would find a new home in Coruscant and still take a career in music. Unfortunately, when the Enterprise comes in, Xenia’s parents would be killed years ago thanks to an incident with Abeloth.

-Choice 3: The Holdo’s And Mothma’s Home For Children

-This would take pointers from Cinderella and “Wuthering Heights”. As one of the people who tried to help with Asase 714, the well-meaning Jarvis Holdo, would be given custody of Xenia due to his wealthy background. It also helps that he’s a married man and father to four children (Caige, Donovan and Amilyn).

Yet, his wife, Esme, didn’t look fondly on the foundling for she always assumed Xenia was a product of Heath’s infidelity. So, when Heath later died, Xenia was forced into servitude with only Amilyn treating her kindly. Then, when trying to save Han Solo from Jabba, Luke, Leia and their friends were given sanction by the Holdo’s as they were for the Rebellion.

Once discovering Xenia’s treatment, the disgusted Rebels removed Xenia from the home and sent her to Mon Mothma’s Haven For Children in Chandrila until after the war. After “Return of the Jedi”, Leia and Mothma would start a Haven For Children in Coruscant with Xenia being moved there to live nearer to the Rebel heroes.

Will all of this I’m indecisive on a couple things:

  • Should Xenia be a Calrissian or a Banai?:

  • With the Calrissians, there is some logic; Custodia Dracon, as a Jedi master, would most likely have or had a padawan. If you’re living in the Empire and found (what’s basically) an alien fondling, wouldn’t it be a good idea for its caretaker to be skilled in the Force for protection? Not only that, I can see Lando getting along with Uhura and Scotty (as long as they don’t talk about their silver ladies). The reveal of Lando taking care of the Scotts’ child would have solidified their friendship.

  • Yet, wouldn’t the reveal be given away too early? Xenia is supposed to learn the truth when, on Tatooine, she stumbles upon the ship, ushering the trauma to come back to her. In the end, various DNA tests would be done with tech from both the Enterprise and Coruscant's labs, all of which proving that Xenia truly is Scotty and Uhura’s child. Yet, wouldn’t Leia, Lando or Giselle had put two-and-two together already once shown Xenia/Penda’s baby pictures? Or even as Uhura tells them of Penda and Asase 714? There’s also Luke, but I’m saving that for later.

  • Then there’s Xenia going from Tatooine to Bespin and to Chandrilla. It complicates things especially as Xenia would’ve naturally had a fear of flying.

  • If Xenia was with the Banai’s, at least her “Mary Sue Levels” would go down a bit. She’s already the child of well-known “Trek” characters and (kinda?) a ward to the Solo’s. Having her be an adopted-niece to the Calrissians would be pushing it. Besides the “Star Wars” movies or shows, we never know what became of Anakin’s old buddy, Kitster. It’d be nice for him to meet the Skywalker twins.

  • That being said, when should the Banai pair die? I want to kill them off to make the Scotts’ reunion more impactful and heartwarming. But, I don’t want them killed RIGHT before the actual story as that’d feel like trauma-bonding. But I don’t want it to be so early because Xenia would be placed with ANOTHER family.

  • Should she meet the Rebel Heroes as a slave girl or as a lonely (and confused) rich girl?

  • Trying to keep her “Mary Sue Levels” down. If I had her introduced in a bad place, it could help with the sympathy. Especially if she were to be a servant of sorts. But, would she be good as just a lonely rich girl if she were with the Calrissians? The poor kid would already be feeling down with her aunt and uncle splitting for reasons she’s not aware of. Wouldn’t the “abused servant” thing be overkill? Yet, I’m scared that I’d make her unrelatable for being rich and privileged.

  • As for Xenia, herself, should she had always carry the trauma of the crash or would Obi-Wan use his Force powers to erase the tragedy so she can live a normal, happier (and in case Siths or Inquisitors look into her mind for something) childhood until the truth is finally revealed?

  • When should Luke and Leia piece things together?

  • Considering Force-users would’ve picked up something off about Xenia (especially since she doesn’t have midichlorians), Luke, Leia and Giselle could’ve wondered about something. Even if Xenia was never given a blood-test. Luke, especially, since he should’ve urged Obi-Wan to (at least) give him HINTS as to what’s going on a year or two before “Beyond Antares”.

  • How far would Selik and Xenia’s romance be?

  • So Xenia and Selik are supposed to be together at some point. That I got. But when?? As Selik’s half-Vulcan, would they have already been married prior to “Beyond Antares”? Should they be engaged instead? Boyfriend and Girlfriend? Or just friends who harbor romantic feelings for eachother? In the first of “Beyond Antares”, I’ve been planning to at least keep them away so Kirk, Luke and the others wouldn’t see her enough to detect any connections with either Scotty or Uhura.

My OC, Selik:

4 min read

Lately, I've been working on the multicrossover between "Classic Doctor Who" (following "Dimensions In Time", Star Trek (setting right after "Undiscovered Country") and "Star Wars" (taking place 11-12 years after "Return Of The Jedi").

This would feature two OCS of mine; Scotty and Uhura's long-lost daughter, Penda (whose story is another discussion) and her love interest, Selik who's the main reason for this post.

His story is rather long but it starts with Sybok, Spock's older half-brother. To make a long story short, a mysterious wormhole transported Sybok into the "Star Wars" dimension-Endor to be specific. There, he'd be taken prisoner by the Sanssyan Marauders from "Battle For Endor". During his captivity, Sybok soon meets and falls in love with the Marauders' ally, the Dathomir Witch, Charal. In time, Sybok and Charal would escape the Marauders to repair Sybok's shuttle. Even with the arrival of the couple's son, Selik.

Years later, Charal would grow tired of the shuttle's failures and went back to the Marauders. As she took little Selik with her, Sybok was forced to return to the Milky Way alone once the shuttle's repairs were finally successful.

Selik would grow older and be feared as a threat among the Marauders. Once finding out of their intent to kill the boy, Charal hides Selik in another part of Endor to live on his own with Charal visiting as much as she could. Fortunately, these conditions wouldn't last as Selik would find Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo a day after the Ewok celebrations. An adventure later and Luke would take Selik as a padawan with the reformed Charal joining the group. By the time of the multi-crossover, Selik would be 24-year-old and looks up to our Rebel Heroes like his own family. Yet his character and looks, I've been debating with myself on.

I can't help but picture Selik as a foil to Spock; friendly, warm, flirtatious and a bit of a goof. But Selik would take his relationships and the spiritual world seriously along with not forgetting his Dathomiri and Vulcan heritage. Even as a child, Selik was always eager to learn and often wondered what his life's purpose is. While Sybok had taught him Sha-Ka-Ree and of Vulcan, Selik is still curious about his paternal side of the family.

After all that's happened in "Final Frontier" and in "Undiscovered Country", Spock would be pleased to have a (half)nephew/the only thing left of his late-brother. However, would Spock be lost on what to do with such a illogical Vulcan? Or would Spock not be bothered as did grew tired of logic in "Undiscovered Country"? And while Charal has been atoning for her crimes, would Spock still see her as a villian? As for Charal, would she like the fact that Selik can connect with Sybok's kin or would she distrust Spock (Sybok didn't leave his planet or the S'Chn T'Gai family on good terms)? What conflicts would Spock have with Selik and/or Charal?

Then there's Selik's look; for my OC's, I often look to celebrities to get a better picture on the character's actions and the general story. Though I had already made Selik's picture, I'm still unsure on it. Aside from the fact on whether he should or shouldn't have a beard, I have too many choices on who his "actor" should be. There's Daniel Day-Lewis, Johnny Depp, and Billy Wirth but he'd look more like Spock than Sybok. So, other choices would be Kevin Smith (New Zealand Actor from "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys"), Jason Carter (Marcus Cole from "Babylon 5"), George Clooney and John Stamos. Who exactly should Selik look more like?

In short...any thoughts?

New OC Idea!!:

2 min read

It's a working progress, but here are the details:

To elaborate, when Sybok was exiled from Vulcan, he went on adventures to find God. Yet, during his quest, a wormhole had pulled him into the Star Wars Galaxy in 2268. Specifically on the planet, Endor. There, he'd meet and fell in love with the Nightsister fugitive, Charal.

For a time the two lived in Sybok's marrooned ship and had their son, Kai. Three years later, Sybok and Charal used their powers to foresee an upcoming wormhole that could return them to the Milky Way. But before they could be set to leave, Terak took Charal and Kai away, foricng Sybok to make his return alone.

While Charal is forced to serve as Terak's minion, Kai is sent to live in the wilderness until he is 15 when Luke Skywalker and his Rebel friends were on Endor. Thinking that Kai's father was a Sephi, Luke takes the wild boy in as his padawan.

While Kai grew into a mischevious, fun-loving and flirtatious young man, his life turns upside down when Enterprise-A mysteriously enters his galaxy. Long story short, poor Kai struggles to bond with his emotionless uncle Spock, remembering the trauma from his pon farr, choosing between the Skyriver and the Milky Way along with wondering if the latter galaxy could except a Force-Sensitive.

To make things more complicated, Kai and his girlfriend, Alisha Gildfridian are both unaware of the latter's own parentage.

So...what do ya think?
